I’m a bargain shopper and I love going out to find bargain deals after a major holiday…like Christmas! I don’t hit the stores 1-3 days after Christmas (they’re too nuts for me), so I go a few days later. Yes, you can still find deals by waiting a few extra days!
I went into one of my favorite bargain discount stores called Gabe’s to see what they had. I like to go on their Senior’s Discount Days so I can get an extra 10% off my purchase. They have Senior Discount Days and Military Discount Days, so check their website (or your local store) to learn more.
At my local store they had 4 racks of plush throw blankets marked down on clearance. They had a variety of different sizes, styles, and colors. My store still had a lot to choose from.
After going through them all I bought 4 plush throw blankets! Three of them were marked down to $8.99 each and one was marked down to $6.99. I picked up an outer space themed one for my grandson, a tie-dye one for my granddaughter, a beautiful solid color ivory one for an upcoming bridal shower gift and one with a palm tree printed all over it for another upcoming gift. All were in perfect condition.
Not only did I get them on final clearance and at a bargain price…but at the checkout I showed my ID and got my 10% Seniors Discount too! Yay! I love racking up those savings!!!

I bought a new coffeepot and was able to use a 10% off on house goods coupon and got my senior discount at the register. The space kid blanket is so cute.
