My kids love this time of the year. They’ve been busy working on holiday craft projects, baking holiday cookies, sending out Christmas cards, and attending parties. There’s always something fun for them to do leading up to the Christmas holiday. As a mother, I’m exhausted already! I’ll be happy once January gets here and things slow down for us all.
What a fast week it has been. I have super busy too shopping and sending out packages and cards to friends and family.
I enjoy my grandkids having time off from school and visiting more during this time. We find some fun games, crafts and baking projects to do together.
I do realize how tiring the preparations can be for all of us, but for me it is worth it in the end to see all the happy people in my family on Christmas.
I texted my niece last week that great niece needed to come spend the day………… She had lots of Christmas crafts to finish…………….. so waiting for them now
It is sad that the people that make all the magic happen get so exhausted they are not able to fully enjoy the activities, fun, and what makes the others so happy.
