The countdown is on! Time to get rolling with your Christmas holiday preparations if you haven’t done so already. I gave my home a good deep cleaning last month before Thanksgiving. Now I’m just keeping things picked up and cleaned as we roll into the Christmas holiday. The majority of my shopping is done except for a few little things. We’ll be having dinner at my parents house this year, so no cooking for me. Yippee! How are your early holiday preparations coming along?

Don’t have a lot of shopping to do, great niece who is 6. Took her shopping but ever I suggested was a flat no. So asked her mom, she texted me a picture, ordered & received and in a gift bag. The other one I buy for is my 93 yr old mother. People look at me strange when I say what I buy. I buy flavored coffees, creamers, quick easy shelf products to cook, mac & cheese, rices, cereals.
    and coloring books, markers.

Very little cooking for me… just taking a ham. I will have company Christmas night for a few days… that will be fun.

I am getting lists from my grandkids which will make my shopping easier. I do like to add a few small surprises. I have some cookies made and in the freezer.

I have done some online Christmas shopping. I am making and freezing some cookie doughs. Tomorrow I shall put up some of the Xmas decorations.

  5. I just did some Christmas shopping online and got all my cards off in the mail. Now I am starting on decorating and cleaning for company. Sure was a fast week I am still catching up with myself.
