Pillsbury Cornbread Swirls the Perfect Addition to Any Meal
Have you tried the Pillsbury Cornbread Swirls yet? If not, you’ll find them in the refrigerated section at your local grocery store. At our store they’re sold alongside the crescent rolls, pre-made cookie doughs, biscuits, etc. You know…those that are in those fun pop-to-open cans.

Back in November our daughter made and served them along with our Thanksgiving holiday meal. She served 3 batches and all were gone within 30 minutes. Everyone really loved them. Unlike traditional cornbread, these weren’t dry, hard and crumbly. Nice consistency and flavor to them.
They’re easy to make. Pop open the can. Lightly grease your muffin pan and then place each swirl into the muffin cavity. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and bake for 14-18 minutes or until done. The tops will be a light golden brown in color. By the way, they smell delicious as they’re baking.
You can serve as-is, with butter slathered on the top, drizzled with melted honey butter or simply just drizzle a little honey over-the-top. My grandchildren also like a little bit of brown sugar sprinkled on top. You can serve them a variety of different ways.
Once my wife and I tried them…we became hooked on them! We’ve been making them at least once every 10-14 days and trying them with different toppings (see above). They’re a great addition to any meal, soup, stew, or just enjoy them as a little snack. Serving size is 1 Cornbread Swirl at 170 calories. Not too bad!
If you haven’t tried them yet…you really should! Especially if you’re a fan of cornbread. By the way, it’s my favorite side when served with my wife’s homemade chili. In my opinion, nothing goes better with chili than cornbread!
