As I’ve gotten older and started my own family I’ve come to value the Christmas and holiday season more than I did when I was younger. As a young child it was all about getting the gifts, seeing family, and having fun. As I matured I learned the REAL meaning for the season. I’ve come to appreciate it all…family, food, friends, celebrating Jesus’ life and everything that comes along with it.
We all get so busy this time of the year that we forget the real meaning and joy for Christmas. Take a few minutes today to sit down and reflect. Take a deep breath and enjoy the moment. Feel it and really experience the day for everything that it should be!
