Over the last few years, I’ve become a huge fan of The A Method by Tina Alster, M.D. products and when a new one launches, I’ll always raise my hand to try it out. The latest product in the A Method line is a new Vitamin C moisturizer to complement the company’s extensive Vitamin C skincare line.

The secret behind The A Method C Glow Moisturizer is Vitamin E (Tocopherol Acetate) which improves the efficacy and absorption of Vitamin C into the skin. To put it simply, Vitamin C can be unstable on its own—meaning the ingredients can separate, change color, texture and degrade more quickly over a shorter period of time. There’s a synergistic effect when the pairing vitamin C and E which drastically improves the efficacy and antioxidant activity of the product, while decreasing the chance for early degradation.
In addition, this luxurious moisturizer is formulated with 5% L-Ascorbic Acid to deliver antioxidant protection against free-radical sun damage while hydrating and refreshing dry skin. It is ideal as we head into the winter months.
