Coffee That Gives Back: Fire Dept. Coffee Nitro-Charged Ready-To-Drink-Coffee

We are coffee drinkers in this house and while I love a nice, hot “cuppa Joe,” I also am a huge fan of a cold brew. I was recently introduced to a new line of nitro cold brews from Fire Dept. Coffee that will definitely switch up your coffee routine. Fire Dept. Coffee’s Ready-to-Drink line of Nitro Cold Brews come in a variety of flavors (including a first of its kind, nitro cold brew with spirit-infused coffee) and are packaged in sleek cans to make it simple to grab and go. Whether you are getting your day started or need a mid-day boost, these brews will satisfy that coffee craving.

Inspired by the vital role that coffee plays in helping firefighters stay alert and energized through long shifts, Fire Dept. Coffee was founded in 2016 and is operated by a dedicated team of firefighters, first responders, and coffee experts. The company is certified by the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA) and freshly roasts their growing selection of delicious coffee in Rockford, IL.
What’s really special about Fire Dept. Coffee is that it supports fellow first responders in need through the Fire Dept. Coffee Foundation by giving back to those who have been injured on the job, mentally or physically, or who are facing other serious health challenges.

I tried the very convenient Ready to Drink Coffee Sample 4-Pack, which includes one 7 oz. can of each nitro cold brew, which makes is easy to try them all. These drinks are sure to satisfy and they include no artificial flavors and are made using premium ingredients. As I mentioned above, the company has also brought its proprietary, non-alcoholic spirit-infusion process to the ready-to-drink category for the first time.

Here’s what you get in the 4-pack:

Nitro Irish Coffee is a first-of-its-kind non-alcoholic Irish coffee. It is made with Arabica coffee and infused with real whiskey (but is non-alcoholic). It has notes of toffee, butterscotch and vanilla, which makes it feel like the perfect drink for the fall.

Nitro Vanilla Bean Bourbon Coffee is the perfect choice if you like your coffee a little on the sweeter side. This was my favorite of the bunch for sure. It is made with Arabica coffee and infused with real bourbon (just like the Nitro Irish Coffee, is non-alcoholic). I especially enjoyed this one chilled, but you can drink it room temperature as well.

Nitro-Charged Latte is a great choice for an everyday coffee for those on the go. This is a premium, nitro-charged cold brew coffee and was my husband’s favorite of the pack since its not a sweet coffee. I call this the “commuter coffee” as it’s the perfect drink to pop into the cup holder in your car. Gas up and go!

Nitro-Charged Shellback Espresso is the coffee for anyone who needs an extra boost of energy—it will keep you going throughout the day. This cold brew espresso celebrates the company’s heritage in the U.S. Navy. It is made with coffee beans near the equator and contains zero sugar.

We really enjoyed trying all of these coffees and we loved the packaging as well. It would make an excellent gift for the coffee-lover and with the holidays coming up, I can think of a few friends and family who would definitely be thrilled to unwrap a gift like this, especially from a company that gives back.
