Paint the compact disc with 2-3 coats of white acrylic craft paint, allowing for 20-35 minutes of drying time between coats. If you want to save time you can use white spray paint and let dry. While that’s drying you want to work on the nose.

To make the carrot shaped nose I used orange tissue paper and scrunched it up into a carrot shape. I secured it with paper tape. You will have to judge the size of the nose that you’ll need. It should cover the hole on the compact disc complete. Once you have the carrot shape wrap orange yarn around it. I kept wrapping yarn until I got to the thickness that I liked. Secure the end of yarn down with a little bit of glue. Set aside.

Use black acrylic craft paint to add the snowman’s eyes, eyebrows, and coal (round shapes) for the mouth. Once dry you’ll want to add the two white dots for the inner eyes using white craft paint. Let dry until the paint is no longer tacky.

Take the painted discs outside and spray the painted side with 2-3 light coats of clear acrylic spray sealer. Let dry until no longer tacky. Bring it back inside to finish up.

Glue the yarn carrot-shaped nose onto the front. Be generous with the amount of glue that you’re using. Glue the satin ribbon hanger on the back. If you want to sign your name or add a date you can do so on the backside using a black Sharpie Marker or black Acrylic Paint Pen. That’s it, you’re done!
