Last month we drove 40 minutes to visit a Flea Market that we hadn’t been to in years! It’s one of the largest ones in our area and is always crowded. I’m not big on being mingled in with large crowds and spending an hour trying to find a place to park.
On Sunday morning we got up early and got there before the big crowds had set in. We quickly went up and down the aisles and guess what? I found several bargains and was happy with my finds!
I got the large Beach, Seashells, Boardwalk, and Sunbathing sign marked down to $10.00. It’s very large and done in the perfect weathered coastal colors. I have it leaning up against one of the walls on our front porch. I place it in a way that 2 arrows point towards our front door and the other 2 arrows point to our driveway. Next summer I’m going to hang it on the outside wall of our pool house.
The large wood porch leaner is done in the shape of a surf board and coordinates with a bunch of my other items on my front porch. It says “We’re on Beach Time” and stands about 4 foot tall. It can be leaned (like in my photo) or hung up on the wall or door. I love having it placed right along the one front door. Yes, we have 2 front doors! I got it for $10.00 too! What a bargain!
A few other things I picked up: An antique food mill that I wanted for canning and gardening season for $4.00, a gently used trellis for my one rose bush for $5.00 and a bag of homemade beef jerky for Sam. Usually I’ll find one or two things…but on this particular Flea Market trip I found several good buys!

You rally found some great bargains at that flea market. I am going to start going to flea markets again and hope that I shall be able to get some great bargains.
I am doing some redecorating, and this makes me think that I should take a trip to the flea market. I have not for years because it is about 90 minutes away, but it is a big one.
I am one of those early birds to. And some times you can get the best deals at that time. Looks like you got a lot of good things.
