Well, August is over and summer is winding down. It makes me sad to see summer go. I do enjoy Autumn and the cooler temperatures, fun outdoor activities, etc. but I really despise what comes next…Winter. Now that Fall is just around the corner do you go out for hayrides, apple picking, to the pumpkin patch or to any fall festivals?

I laughed at today’s quote, although it certainly can be true. Today the weather is hot here, but we are having a neighborhood get together. I hope to attend after I return from my son and grandson’ home.

Any older people can agree on this………… Today’s weather is a lot different then it used to be.

We used to start getting cold weather early November and then around the corner SNOW. We would have it on the ground till almost Easter. We used to have tire chains in our trunks and winter tires on our cars.

  3. In the South… Summer is NOT over until November but that is why I moved here. I do like the Fall and activities. Fall in the South means football season… so much for anything on the TV until February.
