When it comes to fruit or veggie pies…are you a fan? If so, do you have a favorite flavor? I like several different pies: blueberry, apple, pumpkin, cherry and sho-fly pie are some of my favorites. I have to admit, I stink at pie making but my mother is great at it!

The quote made me laugh. Although it can be true sometime a lot of hard work does work for you! I love making pies and eating them I guess fruit pies are my favorite, but I do make great quiches and a guiche counts as a pie, doesn’t it?

Years ago I was at my boss’s home for dinner and his wife made HOT PEPPER PIE. It was the best thing I ever ate, and I was lucky enough to get to take home half of one. I have made many of them over the years.
Store bought pie crust, browned hamburger with spices of choice, shredded cheese and peppers (mild-medium-hot) in sauce. We have a company here that makes the best peppers in sauce. So easy to make bake pie crust brown hamburger, add peppers in sauce , pour some in pie crust add cheese add rest of meat cover with cheese bake 20 minutes. Let cool a little bit then dig in.

  3. I love apple pie the best. I loved pecan before my allergy started. I am a sweets eater, so I like most except, I am not a real fan of pumpkin anything.
