Sarna Itch Relief External Analgesic Lotion

I have sensitive skin and I’m always dealing with some type of problem that causes moderate to severe itching. At times it’s hives, sun blisters, poision ivy or poision sumac, bug bites, allergic reactions from other products touching my skin, and so forth. I think you get the picture!

Over the years I’ve used hydrocortisone and other type’s of anti-itch lotions and creams. Some have worked, some didn’t. Some would offer relief for a little while and then stop working all together. Some even had stinky odors and fragrances with using them. NONE were the perfect solution for me until now.

Sarna Itch Relief External Analgesic Lotion

Last month I had another terrible case of sun blisters and hives which caused severe itching for 2 weeks with no relief with the previous methods and medications that I’ve tried over the years. I was fed up and went into see my doctor about it. She recommended that I try the OTC Over-the-Counter Sarna Itch Relief External Analgesic Lotion.

What I learned about Sarna is that it’s the #1 dermatologist recommended topical anti-itch brand. It’s steroid-free and fragrance-free. It moisturizes and gently relieves itch associated with Eczema, dry skin, poision, minor burns, sunburn, minor cuts, scrapes, insect bites, and other skin irritations that cause itching!

How to Use: Apply to the affected area not more than 3-4 times daily. It can be used on children ages 2 years and up…through adults. Don’t use on kids under the age of 2 years.

After I left my doctor’s office I visited 4 local pharmacies trying to find it. After no luck, I checked two groceries stores in the area. Again, I struck out. After I got home I hopped online and checked Amazon and yup…Amazon had it!!! I quickly placed my order and within 2 business days it arrived to my home.

I’ve been using it as prescribed 3-4 times a day. It comes in an easy-to-use pump bottle and has absolutely no fragrance to it at all. The consistency is that of a creamy lotion. After rubbing it on the affected area(s) it absorbs and dries quickly. I get decent itching relief for 3-6 hours before I need to reapply it.

Overall, I’m very pleased with this new recommendation and find for itching! I was at my rope’s end trying to deal with it while using topical products that I had used for years. Finally, after suffering for a few weeks with the latest round of itching I’m getting some much needed relief.

While I’m no doctor….I wanted to share my personal experience with Sarna Itch Relief External Analgesic Lotion with the readers of this blog who may experience minor to moderate itching from time to time. This lotion is working really well for me. Heck, my husband has been using it when he gets bug bites and states that it works for him too!
