My 13 year old daughter loves to cook, grill and bake. She loves being in the kitchen. Next year she’ll be old enough to apply to a technical school and would go there instead of a traditional high school. She’s going to apply for their culinary arts program for high school students. She wants to be a Chef and cook all kinds of things but wants to specialize on family down-home cooking. I’m excited for her!
I think this is wonderful for your daughter to be able to focus on what she loves doing. She has a great foundation to build on from her family. Maybe she will be posting some of her recipes in the future.
It is mind blowing how early kids today are learning to love cooking. I have watched a lot of shows contest with kids on it and I could not do what they are doing at this young age. Hopefully your daughter continues to love cooking and gets into the class. You never know where this could take her
That is so wonderful that there is a place to help her realize her dream. I am glad she is following her calling.
