We enjoy swimming and have our own backyard pool. We use it mostly to just float around and to relax. We’re not “lap swimmers” or anything like that. It’s one of the best investments that we’ve made into our home.

When shopping for pool floats you’ll find hundreds of different brands, styles, and sizes out in the retail market place. They can be dirt cheap or more on the expensive side depending on where you shop and what you choose.
Using inflatable pool floats is something you do need to be careful with. You need to buy the right type for the person using it. For example, children shouldn’t be floating around or using a float that is specifically made for an adult. An adult shouldn’t be hopping around on one made for a child. They do indeed have weight limits and age requirements.
Another thing you need to consider is quality. Yes, quality. You can find floaties that cost $2 to $3 but they don’t last more than a week…and that’s if you’re lucky. You want to purchase well-made ones that will last.
We like to Intex brand for the majority of our adult floating lounge chairs that we use in our swimming pool. They come in a wide variety of colors, have 2 built-in cup holders, and 2 easy-to-grasp handles. You inflate the seat portion separately from the arms and back. I like having the 2 separate areas to inflate because if one starts leaking, the other will keep you afloat for a little while.
At the beginning of the pool season we purchase 4 of the Intex Adult Lounge Floating Chairs in 4 different colors. We like having our own plus 2 extras for when company is visiting. They last for the entire pool season with no problem. I’m a big guy and the lounge chair holds me just fine, but you do want to read the package for weight limitations.
So, where do we get them? We purchase them from Amazon who sells them at an affordable price. Plus, if you have Amazon Prime, you can get them shipped for free. Our floaties arrive within 1-2 business days. If you buy them at a pool supply store, you’ll definitely pay more.

I do not have a pool, but if I did this would be one of the items I would want to have in my pool. It does look so comfortable.
No pool but if I did that is the way to spend time in the pool. Nice confortable chair to float around on.
I have a supply of these for when we go to the beach and to take on vacations. I have had good luck with Intex products for quality and price.
