Jams and jellies…two of the most versatile condiments that you have sitting in the refrigerator. They can be used as sandwich toppers, condiments, marinades, glazes, mix-ins for dips, swirled into yogurt and ice cream, spooned into fruit smoothies, and used as a topper on toasted bread. You can use them a wide variety of different ways!

Coo Moo Jams is based out of California and is owned by Julie Deck. She created the recipes to perfection! You can buy Coo Moo Jams and Jellies at a few retail locations in Brentwood, California and via the company’s online store.
For this review we received two different jams to try out for you.
Apricot Habanero Jam – This is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy…but not mouth-burning. It has just a little bit of a kick. This one was my husband’s favorite out of the two. We tried it on toasted bagels, toasted English muffins, and as a glaze (marinade) on chicken. My husband has been enjoying a fruit smoothie almost daily and he added 2 tablespoons into his fruit smoothie and gobbled it down. It’s delicious!
Triple Berry Moogarita Jam – This one is made with several different berries: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries along with the tartness of lime juice and Tequila. This one is for the person who loves sweet and fruity….a person like me! We tried it on peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, PB & J crackers, toasted bagels and English muffins, and mixed in with our favorite vanilla yogurt. It will take that plain vanilla yogurt and turn it into something fantastic!
Above you’ll see a photo of the Triple Berry Moogarita Chicken that we had made. Just brush the jam on all sides of the chicken and place onto the grill. It gives your chicken the most wonderful fruity with a little bit of a kick flavor. It was delicious!!!
Head on over to Coo Moo Jams and Jellies to check out all of the gourmet flavors that they have to offer. If you’re shopping for yourself or a foodie this holiday season…they would make a great gift! You can connect with the company on Instagram.
