For this review I was sent a bottle of their Q.R.F. Bold Barbecue Sauce to try out for all of you. It comes packaged in a 12 fl. oz. glass bottle. You get approximately 12-servings per bottle at 2 Tablespoons per serving at 70 calories each. This sauce has the perfect balance of spice and sweet, complimenting all food from the grill and smoker with a bold kick that won’t overpower the meal.
It’s all-natural, contains no cholesterol, gluten-free, no MSG, and contains no corn syrup. Matter of fact, I know what each ingredient is…there’s nothing funky in it. Take a look at the ingredients below:
Ingredients: natural tomato concentrate (tomatoes, sugar, vinegar, spice, onion), organic Tapioca syrup, honey, vinegar, water, sugar, dried garlic, natural flavor, and spices.
My husband loves to grill and has our grill and/or smoker fired up at least twice a week throughout the summer season. He has all kinds of fancy tools, gadgets, seasonings, rubs, sauces, and yes…he even wears a grilling apron when he’s cooking! He really takes it seriously!
Last weekend we decided to use the sauce on chicken breasts, thighs, and legs. We like the skin on! He placed the chicken in a marinating dish along with several tablespoons of the sauce. Placed the lid on top and refrigerated for a few hours. He then removed from the refrigerator and left it sit on the counter for 20 minutes before tossing onto the grill. (He sets a timer and is firm about letting the chicken come up a little bit in temperature before tossing it onto the grill). He left it cook over medium heat for about 20-25 minutes, flipped them over. He then brushed on additional barbecue sauce to finish the cooking process. We like our chicken well done with the skin crispy, but not burnt.
Let’s talk about taste. The chicken was fantastic! It had a bold flavor but wasn’t mouth-burning or overpowering. Even my 13 year old daughter ate chicken that day! Not only did everything smell delicious as it was cooking, it tasted delicious too! Next time around…he wants to try it on a rack of ribs. A big two-thumbs up from this family!

This does sou d like a good BBQ sauce to try. I also appreciate that it is a veteran owned business.
That sounds so good. I will have check it out and see about buying some. It is for a good cause too.
We like to try different bbq sauces during the summer since most days are grill days with burgers, chicken or ribs. It is nice to have different flavors for variety.
I haven’t had BBQ sauce in a while this sounds super good. It’s been so hot here and with the wildfire danger we haven’t been using the BBQ this summer.
