Wow, it’s the end of July already! Summer is really flying by. Basically, one month left and then we’ll be heading into fall. I’ve been busy trying to keep the kids busy! When I’m not at work I’m out doing things with the kids. We’ve been doing educational activities like touring museums, visiting zoos & wildlife parks, etc. So far we’ve been to 2 carnivals, 3 festivals, and 1 large amusement park. In between all of that…camping, hiking, and playing outside. I don’t allow my children to become couch potatoes during the summertime. They’re limited to 1 hour of internet or video game time per day.
This summer sure has been a hot one so far. We are now in the middle of massive wildfires so just sticking close to home and praying that the weather cools off soon.
It has been OK here for now.You really have been keeping the kids busy. I do enjoy summer , especially when it is not too hot.
I really like that you limit time internet /video. My sister just visited with her great grand kids boy 7 and girl 6 months. She let that boy use his phone for video games and then take hers when there was no charge left in his. That really blew my mind.
I don’t hate fall but it leads to winter………………
