How to make the perfect Steeped Iced Coffee Concentrate

For each serving, you’ll need

1 Steeped Coffee Pack
1 10 oz. mug
Filtered water

Heat filtered water to 205 degrees, or just below boiling. Place Steeped Bag at bottom of mug. Pour hot water over Steeped Bag until the mug is half full. Use string to dunk Steeped Bag 20 to 30 times over 1 minute. Leaving the Steeped Bag in, let the coffee steep for 5 to 7 minutes or more to taste. Remove Steeped Bag.

Tips

To serve a crowd, make multiple batches of Concentrate. Store leftover Concentrate in the fridge. Freeze Steeped coffee in ice cube trays. Use coffee cubes instead of regular ice cubes to avoid diluting your beverage.

Steeped Iced Latte

Steeped Iced Coffee Concentrate (see above)
Milk
Cocktail shaker
Ice

Optional: sweetener or flavored coffee syrup to taste

Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add 1 part Steeped Ice Coffee Concentrate and 1 part milk. Sweeten to taste, or replace sugar with flavored coffee syrup to make Vanilla Latte, Caramel Latte, etc. Shake until foamy. Pour into a glass filled with ice.

My Thoughts: I received a sampler pack from Steeped Coffee containing 5 different varieties. One of the things I really like is that each serving is nitro sealed. I can toss the individual packs into my handbag, tote bag, or luggage when I’m traveling and take them on-the-go with me. You can drink the coffee hot or iced and add anything to it that you like. When it comes to hot…I like adding cream and sugar. When I drink iced coffees, I like adding some of the flavored coffee syrups you see out in the retail marketplace.

All of the 5 varieties that I tried are very nice. I would buy and drink all 5 of them. The Eventide Decaf was enjoyed late in the evening since it was decaf and helped me unwind after a long day. The other 4 varieties I enjoyed early morning and throughout the day. I tried them hot and iced…both methods produced a very delicious coffee that was easy to make!

Steeped Coffee is perfect for people like me who don’t want to mess with pod brewers, traditional coffee pots with filters, and all of that stuff. Great for people who travel or for those who want to enjoy a great tasting cup of coffee while at work.
