Oil-Based Waterproof Paint Pen Markers for Arts and Crafts

Hand Painted Tropical Palm Tree Seashell DecorWe share a lot of arts and craft projects on the TwoClassyChics blog that involves painting on river rocks and seashells. When painting on those surfaces it’s important to use a great set of Paint Pen Markers. Not all of them are created equally, you want to use an oil-based set that dries quickly. Stay away from the ones that are water-based, especially if you intend on using the item outside.

A few weeks ago I purchased a set of Oil-Based, Waterproof Paint Pen Markers from Amazon to replace an old set that I had been using. Wow, I’m so glad that I did becuase this new set is 100% better! Using oil-based paint pens are waterproof, fade resistant, and they dry more quickly than the other set that I had used.

You can use these specific Paint Pen Markers to paint designs on river rocks, wood, glass, plastic, seashells, fabric, ceramic coffee mugs, ceramic or stoneware coasters, artist canvas, and so much more! The most versatile set that I’ve ever used and trust me….I’ve used a lot over the past 20+ years!

One thing I like about them is that they’re odorless! A lot of the ones out in the retail marketplace have terrible paint and chemical odors to them. Second, each one has a nice hard tip. You can do detail work like writing words or outlining a design. The colors are vivid and saturated. Each one comes individually sealed to keep the paint fresh.

They’re easy-to-use! Take the wrapping off, shake the paint marker before each use, prime the tip and you’re ready to roll. They glide across most surfaces and I find that I typically ONLY need one coat thanks to the color saturation. You get 12 markers in the set.

I’m in LOVE with this set of paint pen markers! If you’re looking for a new set or trying out the hundreds of arts and craft projects that we share on the blog….pick up this great set of markers from Amazon at an affordable price. A must-have if you’re painting on rocks and seashells.
