Ground Beef, Rice and Pasta Stove-Top Recipe

July 26, 2022 by Carol

Ground Beef, Rice and Pasta Stove-Top RecipeLooking for a quick and easy lunch or weeknight dinner that takes less than 30 minutes to get onto the table? If so, I’ve got a great recipe to share with you today. It can be your quick main meal or used as a side dish. Perfect for when you’re in a hurry or during the summertime when you don’t want to turn on the oven.

Ground Beef, Rice and Pasta Stove-Top Recipe

1 Packet Knorr Beef Flavor Rice & Pasta Blend in a Savory Beef Flavored Sauce
1/2 to 3/4 lb. Lean Ground Beef
1 Tbsp. Sour Cream
Salt and Ground Black Pepper to Taste

Knorr Beef Flavored Rice Side Dish

In a skillet brown the lean ground beef until done. Drain away the grease.

In a medium or large saucepan prepare the Knorr Beef Flavor Rice & Pasta Blend according to package directions. Once it starts to boil stir in the cooked lean ground beef. Finish cooking according to package directions. Turn off heat and remove from the burner. Stir in the 1 tablespoon of sour cream. Serve immediately.

Variations: You can stir in finely chopped onions, minced garlic, halved cherry tomatoes, and red pepper flakes depending on your taste buds.

Recipe will make enough to feed 2-3 adults. You can add additional lean ground beef if desired, if you want a more “hearty” meal. I personally don’t like over-powering it with the ground beef, but that’s entirely up to you. Store all leftovers (once cool) in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat leftovers in the microwave for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes on high.

I do like Knorr products. This is an easy meal to make. I love the variations with more vegetables in them.
