Family Time – Mini Golf at Sunset Beach

Mini Golf at Sunset BeachMy family loves the game of miniature golf and have played at over 50+ different courses up and down the east coast. We enjoy getting together for some physical activity out in the fresh air. Mini golf is a game that the entire family can enjoy…from the wee ones to seniors!

While on vacation down in Cape May in New Jersey we stopped by Sunset Beach Mini Golf. It’s a beautifully landscaped golf course right along the beach. They have 18-holes with the majority of the easy up to 3-par. Easy to walk and some holes are handicap accessible. Free parking too!

We like to play during the evening hours so that we can enjoy the sunset out over the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a beautiful time of the day to play, not to mention cooler temps. However, they can get pretty busy during the prime time hours. If you want to avoid crowds go during the weekdays instead of the weekend.

There are 2 gift shops that you can walk to (steps away) if you want to do a little shopping. There’s a beach grille if you want to grab a quick bite to eat. At the beach grille it’s all outdoor dining so please be aware of that. The food is okay, your classic stuff like hamburgers, french fries, hot dogs, soft pretzels, etc. Nothing fancy.

Every time we’re down to Wildwood or Cape May we stop into Sunset Beach Mini Golf. It’s one of our family’s favorite places to play when visiting the south Jersey Shore.

So much fun and good idea to play during the evening and get a nice sunset view. I am looking forward to taking my grandson who is almost 7 mini golfing soon.

That looks like a great time. We don’t have any more miniature courses here. I liked to play when I was younger.
