Provo Craft Knifty Knitter Looms Make Knitting Easy
My daughter Shelly can knit and crochet like a pro. I admit, I can do crochet but I have never been able to master knitting. I adore handmade knitted hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens. There’s a lot of things you can knit that are adorable.

I decided to buy the Provo Craft Knifty Knitter Looms that I’ve been reading about online. My loom kit came with 4 round looms, the hook, a needle and an instructional booklet. In the booklet there are patterns to make hats, holiday stockings, golf club covers, and a few other things.
You’ll want to spend some time reading over all of the instructions. I found them to be easy to understand. I practiced for about 30 minutes and then decided to make a knitted hat for my first project. You can use any type of yarn that you would like. I used acrylic for this particular hat.
Instructions will teach you how to add stripes and patterns if you like that particular look. You can knit the hats with a brim or without. I think they look better with it. You’ll need scissors, yarn and a tape measure to get started…other than that everything is pretty much included in the kit.
One of the things that really surprised me is how quickly and easily you can knit a winter hat using these looms. I was able to knit a hat in a weekend! The looms allow you to make different sizes and different projects. I made a burgandy & black hat for myself and a green & white hat for my 13 year old great-granddaughter in her school colors. You can add a pom-pom onto the top with their instructions too! However, the easier way to make a pom-pom is by using the inexpensive pom-pom maker that we also purchased from Amazon.
If you always wanted to learn to knit or looking for an easier way to do it I recommend you give the Provo Craft Knifty Knitter a try. I really like it and I’m currently working on knitted golf club covers for my grandson-in-law for Christmas!
