Our cat is an important member of our family and spoiled rotten. We were empty nesters for 15 years until we adopted him. He’s a domestic short-hair cat and has a wonderful tempermant and loving behavior. Remove will be 3 years old September 2022.

He loves to run, hide, and play. I decided to make him some fun new things which I installed in our family game room. It’s turning out to be his playroom and playground. He loves spending time in that room!
The first thing that I made was the wooden platform that I attached to the wall near the ceiling. I lined it with carpeting so that he can grab onto it with his claws and have a comfortable nap. When making one you want to make sure you make it large enough for an adult cat. Make sure the height is appropriate so the cat can sit up straight comfortably.
Leading up to the platform are 6 wooden steps also wrapped in carpet. They’re little platforms so he can climb up to the big one. You want to stagger them up the wall at an angle, like a staircase for your kitty to climb up. Make sure they’re appropriately spaced and attached to studs within your wall.
Across the one window I made 2 more wooden step platforms and attached a wooden bridge. He can walk across it to get to the larger platform, sit on the bridge to watch the birds out the window or take a nap on it when the sunshine is streaming in.
All of these items took me 2 full weekends to make (start to finish) and I spent about $100 on supplies. Took me another hour or so to get everything installed onto the wall. A nice project for our little boy to enjoy.

I love these we do so much to spoil our babies. All of my furniture was arranged so my cats could lay on them and look our the windows. I love see ideals of things people make and do for our cats.
