Macrame Indoor Plant Hangers an Easy Way to Display Houseplants

March 1, 2022 by Shelly

Macrame Indoor Plant HangersI love gardening and that includes having over 2 dozen indoor houseplants. I have plants in just about every room of our home. They add beauty to every room and help to filter the indoor air. You can sit them on shelves, on a specially made stand, or hang them up to save space. About 1/4 of my plants love to be hung up in front of windows that get a lot of sunlight.

Last week I decided to replace 6 of my Macrame Plant Hangers with new ones that I purchased from Amazon. I found a 3-pack that I like that came with 3 hangers, 3 hooks, and each one is in a different size. That’s great for different rooms and spaces in your home!

One of the things I liked about this particular set is how classic they look. You can get them in 3 different colors (gray, ivory, and brown) and you can order a medium or large set. I also like that they have flat bottoms and not gaudy looking fringe. In other words, they look clean and modern. Not something from the 1970’s.

My hanging hooks were installed years earlier so I didn’t need the included hanging hooks. I’ll use them for something else later on down the road. Having them included is a huge money-saver because I paid over $3.00 a piece just for hooks at the hardware store!

All I did was take my plants down…added new houseplant food spikes and put them into the new Macrame Plant Hanger and hung them back up. Then I went around and watered them. If you want to be successful at growing houseplants you need to feed them and water them on a regular basis. I do my watering on weekends and my feedings every other month.

It’s been a week now and I think they look great! If it’s been awhile since you put up new plant hangers it may be time to change them out. They discolor, fray, get weak, and look ugly over time. I don’t recommend investing a ton of money in hangers, so go for the classic looking ones that are affordable like the ones that I’m featuring in my post.

I love this set so much that I’m going to order a third set in the gray color. Head on over to Amazon and check them out. Affordable and really nice quality!

Years ago, I actually made some of my own macrame plant hangers. I think they are such a pretty way to hang and display plants.

I love macrame plant hangers and haven’t had them in years. I had no idea that you could buy these on Amazon and that is a great price. Your plants look so healthy and pretty.
