You’ll want to read through the instructions on the box and package before using them for the first time. To activate one you remove it from the package and shake it up. You can place one in the palm of your hands and then place your gloves on top. If you want to use them on other areas of the body they recommend that you don’t do direct-on-skin contact, so add a layer in between.
It will take several minutes for it to fully heat up. It will provide soothing heat for up to 10 hours. They’re safe and ingredients won’t harm the environment. When done using them you’ll want to properly dispose of them in the trash. They’re not recommended for use by children, the elderly or by people who can’t feel temperature differences.
The HotHands Hand Warmers are perfect for people who work and play outside during the winter season. Those who go snow boarding, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, ice skating, ice fishing, hunting, golfing, walking, or if you’re outside just doing yard work.
Why I like them? During the late fall and winter season in the northeast it can get downright brutally cold outside. I get tired of freezing my butt off while out plowing the driveway, shoveling snow, cleaning off the truck, etc. In a matter of a few minutes you can get deathly cold or frostbite.
How do I use them? I like putting one in each pocket of my jacket and if needed in my mittens. They really do help to keep you warm! Are you toasty warm? No, but they certainly do help to keep you more comfortable.
