My family loves to camp and a few years ago, we purchased a small travel trailer for our adventures. We often are at campgrounds that don’t have electric hook ups, so I am a big fan of solar products that don’t require an electrical outlet. I recently learned about two products that are must have for any outdoor adventure—the TacRight Solar Charging Light with Electric Fan and the TacRight Solar Crank Radio with Flashlight and Reading Lamp.

Both of these devices are compact, multi-purpose and are ideal for the seasoned outdoorsman or even a beginner spending a weekend under the stars. Here is the lowdown on both of these cool little devices.
* TacRight Solar Charging Light with Electric Fan – This is the ultimate all-in-one product as it can not only provide lighting, but it’s equipped with a built-in fan for cooling you down. The fan only has one speed, but it is better than some other solar fans I’ve purchased and can be tilted/adjusted. You can also use the fan and the light at the same time. Here are some of the other great features:
* Professional waterproof performance, suitable for various environments
* Solar and Cable charging
* Built-in power bank with a USB port that can charge most Android mobile phones. I tried to charge my iPhone and it didn’t seem to be compatible.
* Can be used as a lantern by simply popping it up or use it as a flashlight with the side switch. Hang it in a tent, on a tree or take it along for a walk after dark.
* TacRight Solar Crank Radio With Flashlight and Reading Lamp – This is another fun multi-functional product that provides a radio, reading lamp as well USB ports for charging cell phones. My husband and son love to go fishing when we camp and this would be a perfect companion to take along. It’s compact and the radio works really well. Other features of this product include:
* 2000mAh power bank which provides up to 12 hours of light or 4-6 hours of radio time. It can also provide emergency power to any small tablet or phone.
* Hand crank, solar panel, built-in lithium ion rechargeable battery, AAA batteries (not included) and AC power.
* Specially-designed radio to automatically alert you if there is an emergency being broadcasted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA). It will automatically alert you if any emergency warning is issued. It has standard analog tuning of AM/FM/SW/7 NOAA weather channels.
* An integrated flashlight and reading lamp, which can come in handy during for nighttime reading or even emergency situations. It’s perfect for taking along on a backpacking or hiking trip. It also has an SOS alarm function.
* One minute-hand cranking support will provide over 20 minutes of radio play time, over 30 minutes of continuous torch light and five minutes of cell phone talk time.
