Thailand Offers Many Holiday Experiences in One Country

Traveling has been a challenge in the last few years. But as we move into a new year, more and more places have eased their restrictions, and tourism is expected to begin to grow again.  Thailand is one such country, there are new rules in place, but the government and the people plan to continue being one of the world’s most popular leisure destinations. Thailand is a favourite because there are so many places to go and things to do and the weather is lovely year-round. Not to mention the world-famous cuisine and the affordable lifestyle. There are many regions to experience, and each has its attractions and a unique personality. Here is a look at the four major areas.

Thailand Offers Many Holiday Experiences in One Country

* Bangkok: The nation’s capital is a large and vibrant city. Nearly 30 % of the population lives nearby. Bangkok has the best of everything, and some people go there to shop for luxury goods in places like the Siam Paragon Mall. Bangkok is also the travel hub for the country, so many people are passing through. There are many daytime attractions in Bangkok: famous temples, the Royal Palace, and in the evening a vibrant nightlife, with something for everyone. There are many SHA Plus+ Hotels in Bangkok boasting the highest health standards.

* Northern Thailand: Northern Thailand is the place to enjoy mountain retreats and the Hill tribe villages. There are many stunning resorts and two major cities, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, with several of their own attractions such as the White Temple, Golden Triangle, and The mountaintop temple Doi Suthep among others. And though the scenery is lovely, there is more to do than sightseeing. The weather is usually a little cooler in the north which will be appreciated if you come in the hot season of April and May.

* Andaman Coast: Many of the tropical postcard images you see of Thailand come from the Andaman coast. This southern region of Thailand has great pride in its cultural heritage. This is the place to go if you wish to snorkel or scuba dive, or perhaps spend some time deep-sea fishing. It is a place of white sand beaches and many island getaways. Many hotels and resorts for every traveller’s budget are available. There is also great shopping, golf, and day trips to take advantage of.

* Issan: Issan is the north-eastern area of Thailand. It is the largest area of Thailand, known for its distinctive culture that dominated the region centuries ago, spreading across Cambodia and Laos. Issan is a place of simple pleasures and adventurous tastes in food. It is one of the most authentic places on earth.

Wherever you go in Thailand, you will benefit from the friendly culture and affordability of food and accommodation. Although there is some seasonal variation in climate, almost every day in Thailand is an excellent day to enjoy yourself. Although tour packages are available, most people prefer to make their own schedule. Thailand is so relaxed and accommodating, being spontaneous is standard practice. As long as you are having fun, that is all that matters.
