Relieve Urinary Pain with Doctor Recommended Uricalm Max

Uricalm MaxFor the past 12 years I’ve suffered with at least 6 urinary tract infections a year. From what I understand it can me a common problem as we age and/or for women who have had hysterectomies at an early age. Whatever the reason, I tend to get a bad UTI every 2-3 months.

My symptoms with a UTI are intense pressure to frequently urinate (even if it’s only a dribble but feels like a full bladder), burning when I urinate and sometimes I’ll dribble because of the pressure that I feel. The urgency and frequent trips to the bathroom wear me out!

In the past my doctor used to prescribe Pyridium to me to help relieve those symptoms until the antibiotics kicked in. Well, as of 4 months ago our medical insurance company will no longer cover it. Doesn’t matter why your doctor prescribed it…our health insurance company will NOT pay for it. Ugh. They should have to pay for everything a doctor prescribes…PERIOD. But that’s another story.

Uricalm Max

I now take an OTC Over-the-Counter medication called Uricalm Max which is doctor recommended. It’s the highest dose you can get over-the-counter. It will promptly help to relieve urinary pain, burning, sensation of urgency, and increased frequency. It contains 99.5 mg Phenazopyridine HCI per tablet.

Normally I don’t blog about the type of medications (prescription or OTC) that I take but I wanted to tell you about Uricalm Max because in my honest opinion, it’s just as good as the prescription medication that I used to take. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked the same way and just as quickly.

I’m not a doctor and I don’t pretend to play one on TV. You always want to speak to your own physician FIRST before taking any OTC medication.
