Oh my gosh, the grocery stores and retail stores are plain CRAY CRAY this year. The parking lots are full and you have to park a mile away. Everyone is out fighting over parking spaces and being agressive about it. Then in the stores there are long and I mean LONG lines due to stores being short of help. Going down the aisles you find bare spots every where due to the supply chain and our government doing squat about it. This year has been a very unpleasant shopping experience for several weeks. I actually dread shopping for the first time in my life.

I do like this quote. I still have a little of my Christmas shopping to do , but I have done most of my shopping online, so I don’t have to worry about the craziness in the stores.

  2. Lots of long lines at check out around here too. Sometimes only 1 or 2 checkout lines open. Irritating to wait but I do appreciate the people who are working so hard.

I am a senior (had all shots) and don’t really want to be out in the crowds. If I go to the grocery store it is at 7 am at the latest, no parking problems. I agree there are things that you reach for and they are not there. But I think it is getting better. Stores that don’t open till 9 am I am waiting to get in. So I am always in and out quickly

  4. Peggy Nunn says

I did 90% of my Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving. I rather do that than wait on sales. I also order on line because I don’t do crowds either. I wonder if it will ever be back to 2019 normal. Go shopping with items on full shelves…. I hope so.

  5. What a fast week this has been I can’t believe it is already Friday. I just got home from hitting a couple of stores and I totally agree with you it is cray cray out there!
