We hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday. Around here, I have a 4-day weekend which I love. It gives me time to unwind and relax after Thanksgiving. Get my house cleaned up and start preparing for the upcoming Christmas holiday. The kids have been out of school since Tuesday but will be going back on Monday. Always hard balancing home life and a career.

What kind of foods did you enjoy yesterday? We had turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, succotash, baked corn pudding, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and green bean casserole. So much food! I sent leftovers home with everybody and I still have a fridge full.

Comments

  1. We had pretty much everything that you had no ham though we usually have that on Christmas. I have never tried succotash I don’t think. It has been a super busy weekend for me and I am tired, tired, tired.

  2. We had a classic Thanksgiving meal which was enjoyed by all. Still easting leftover turkey sandwiches which are a favorite of mine.

there is always so many different foods. We have the standard turkey/ham mashed potatoes, veggies, noodles. Always a lot and lots to take home

  4. We had all most everything you had but about 5 more casseroles and a couple more desserts. So much good food. I ate leftover with as much gusto as with lunch. So good.

We had a lot of food too. We met at a park to exchange food and hug everyone since the littlest are not yet vaccinated.
