Do you like pie? If so, what’s your favorite flavor of pie to enjoy? My mom makes a delish crumb topping apple pie, a pumpkin cheesecake and a double crust cherry pie that are delicious. I’m not a great pie maker/baker and always have to use store bought pie crusts when I make them. Do you use store bought or homemade crusts?
I use store bought crusts. I think that it is a knack to be able to make a good crust and not a skill that I have mastered. All of your mom’s pies sound super yummy.
I had a aunt years ago that made the best southern pecan pies!! The only pie I would bake would be from the freezer section. My sister in law makes the best cheese cakes.
I just buy the whole pie from the store. We have a local farmers market that makes great pies. I get them there, they are really homemade.
