A few months ago we took a quick trip down to Walt Disney World in Florida and tried to squeeze as many activities that we could in 4 short days. By the time our little worldwind getaway was finished, the entire family was exhausted, but we all had a lot of fun!
I think most people have Walt Disney World or Disneyland on their travel bucket list and I do recommend that you visit at least once in your life. For my family, this was our third visit in 12 years and it has really changed (for the better) over those years. Always something new to see and fun things to do.
We’re big fans of visiting zoos and wildlife parks, so we took the time to visit the exotic animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You’ll find tigers, lions, flamingos, gorillas, zebras, giraffes, rhinos, elephants, hippos, meerkats, warthogs, okapis, vultures, monkeys, butterflies, birds, otters, komodo dragons, etc. They have a really nice variety of animals to see.
My children loved every minute that we spent there. They were enthralled with watching the animals do their thing. We ran into a few of the zoo keepers along the way and they were more than happy to answer any questions that my kids had. You can tell that the animals there are happy and well cared for.
Today I’m sharing a few photographs with you from our visit. If you ever get the opportunity to visit Disney, you should! It’s just not all about the amusement park rides. Disney has all kinds of other things for you to see and do at any age or stage in your life
I think it is wonderful to be able to have an animal park combined with an amusement park. This looks a wonderful place to visit.
This looks like a great time and interesting. I’ve never been to any Disney parks and would love to go. Thanks for sharing!
How neat that you were able to talk to some of the zookeepers and get more information. What great photos of the animals. It looks like an amazing place to visit.
The rides do nothing for me. I would rather see these sites there. Thank you for sharing.
I so love visiting parks like this one it is so relaxing and I so love animals. It has been way too long since I have gone to one of these thanks for sharing these pics.
