My son is 6 years old and is into bugs, dinosaurs, sharks, construction vehicles, monster trucks, and race cars. I guess most little boys his age enjoy those type’s of things. As a parent, I’m happy to provide him with educational toys and play sets that spark his imagination. Toys and games that he will play with for hours at a time and hold his interest for several months.

As a family we watch a lot of the programming on the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet. My kids will sit for hours watching those television shows, especially the ones that feature animals. My daughter wants to be a Scientist when she grows up and my son would like to work with animals, a Vet or a Zookeeper for his career.
Discovery RC Scorpion Remote Control Pet Creature is for children ages 6 years and up. It comes with the Scorpion and a wireless remote control. You will need to supply two AAA batteries for the scorpion and two AAA batteries for the remote control.
“Stingy” is the name of the scorpion and his legs skitter and move as you control the motion with the wireless remote. It features LIFELIKE movement. If your child isn’t into scorpions look for the RC Triceratops, RC Crocodile, and/or the RC T-Rex Dinosaur.
One of the coolest features with this Scorpion is that its body will glow thanks to the little LED lights. It’s a really nice size measuring approximately 11.8″ long (tip of pincher to tail). It’s made out of a durable hard plastic material, so it will hold up nicely. I like that I can wipe it down with a cleaning wipe when it needs cleaned. In other words, spot clean only.
My son likes to sit on the floor and play with the Scorpion driving our dog nuts! Okay, our dog loves chasing it which makes my son laugh. He takes it outside and plays with it in the grass, on the patio and for extra play-time fun in his sandbox. We used it as a teaching moment to teach him where Scorpions are typically found, what they eat, how long they typically live, etc. You can find all kinds of cool Scorpion facts online to share with your child.

I am sure my grandsons would love this creepy crawly creature. However, I think that their parents might prefer the dinosaur remote.
I’m sorry but I do not want this in my house. I’ve lived where there are real scorpions and don’t like them.
I’m so disappointed!! As soon as I saw this scorpion I knew my great great nephew would love it. I have looked every where out of stock on amazon and walmart and target.
but I am going to keep looking this would be a great christmas present

That is so creepy to me that it is cute. I am sure any child will love getting that to play with.
My six year old grandson would love having something like this. I think the T-Rex would be his favorite but he would have fun with any of them Something to add to the wish list.
