I recently learned about a skincare trio that was created by celebrity dermatologist, Tina Alster, that I’m excited to tell you about today. The A Method®’s Blemish Control System is a phenomenal kit that features three clean and effective non-comedogenic products that help diminish the appearance of blemishes. With the holidays approaching, I’m focused on getting that fresh-faced, clear skin look and with this high-quality dream team of products—the Cleanse Glycolic Gel, Daily Blemish Pads and H2Biome Probiotic Moisturizer—my skin will be looking and feeling amazing for every holiday gathering on my calendar.

The A Method's Blemish Control System

This powerful combination of products helps balance oil production by exfoliating debris and moisture buildup. A number of factors can cause breakouts, but the most common culprits are face coverings, pollution and clogged pores.

The A Method Blemish Control System was curated with three specific products (and three easy steps) meant to work together, to diminish the appearance of blemishes. These products are:

The A Method® by Tina Alster M.D. Cleanse Glycolic Gel

This cleansing gel offers an exfoliating blend of glycolic, lactic and salicylic acid to help minimize skin imperfections and refine skin texture. Skin retexturizing is essential for many skin types, especially for those with blemish prone skin. Keeping pores clear of cellular debris and refining skin texture primes the skin for the enhanced benefits of a regular skincare program. This light and foamy gel leaves your skin feeling fresh, balanced and naturally toned with the product’s ivy extract.

The A Method® by Tina Alster M.D. Daily Blemish Pads

The Daily Blemish Pads are part of a comprehensive approach to managing breakouts. These pads contain a skin purifying blend of glycolic, salicylic and trichloroacetic acid helps keep breakouts in check. These pads contain skin brightening phyllanthus emblica fruit extract, which reduces oily dullness and aloe extract blended with allantoin for softening the skin. These potent little pads should be used twice daily after cleansing to achieve clearer and brighter skin.

The A Method® by Tina Alster M.D. H2Biome

The H2Biome is a creme that can assist with balancing and revitalizing the skin. It serves as a daily moisturizer that combines skin balancing probiotics with powerful antioxidants (and hydrogen) to revitalize, protect and nourish skin. The product contains lactobacillus bulgaricus, which renews skin balance by promoting an optimal environment for collagen synthesis and oxygenation. A trio of curcuminoids are also incorporated into this creme, which is the most “active” component of turmeric—it helps reduce oxidative stress, known to cause skin redness and inflammation. These are a just a few of this product’s superior ingredients.

The A Method's Blemish Control System

Using these products is as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Wash face with tepid water using Cleanse Glycolic Gel. Rinse and pat dry with a soft towel.
2. Once dry, apply Daily Blemish Pads to affected areas of the skin, focusing on areas of redness and breakouts.
3. Apply a thin layer of H2Biome to areas where your skin tends to dry out to keep skin balanced and hydrated.

All of these products are paraben-free, dermatologist tested, non-comedogenic, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, gluten-free and vegan. I’ve seen and felt a difference with my skin after using these products for a few weeks. I am a fan for sure!

The product trio can be purchased on the A Method website and more information about The A Method can be found on Facebook and Instagram.
