During the autumn season do you do a deep clean of your home? Do you go outside and clean-up your property before the weather changes? Do fall maintenance?
We spend a lot of time raking up the leaves and bagging them. Then we work on cleaning up the garden, cutting down the now dead plants, hauling that debris out, trimming bushes, cleaning gutters, and other things.
I like to go through my children’s clothing, toys, and games during the fall season and donate the items we no longer need. By doing that now, I’ve freed up space for the upcoming holiday season. Plus, I can make recommendations to family & friends on what my kids need during the holiday season. How about you?
Looks like another fun week on the blog coming up. October is off to a fast start for me the days seem to be flying by.
i miss fall clean up! The air always smelled so different. My niece is already talking about doing clean up in my great niece’s room. This always involve tears and please don’t take it mommy!!
I do not need to do the maintenance. However, I put up the fall decorations in the front garden and on the back porch. I do need to go through items and throw away some and donate some of them.
I used to do all that. The kids are gone, I hire someone to do the yard work… Then I am ready for the holidays. It feels cooler only because it is in the low 80’s instead of the high 80’s or 90’s. So fall is coming.
