Pepperidge Farm Soft Baked Captiva Dark Chocolate Cookies
I admit…I’m a cookie fan. I would rather snack on cookies than potato chips, pretzels, popcorn, nuts, candy, etc. I’ve been a huge cookie fan all of my life! With that said, I’m picky about the cookies that I’ll eat. For example: They have to be soft & chewy and full of flavor. I won’t eat things that can crack my teeth or taste like cardboard. Nope, those things aren’t for me.
Recently we were away on vacation and at a local grocery store I picked up 2 bags of Pepperidge Farm Soft Baked Captiva Dark Chocolate Cookies for the trip. I didn’t have time to do any baking and wanted a few things to take along. I picked up some of hubby’s favorite things and decided upon these cookies just by looking at the package.
Anyway, While on our trip I opened up a bag. Oh my gosh, why hadn’t I tried these before? Seriously, they’re so good! Unlike most other pre-packaged cookies these are definitely soft and chewy. If you’re a chocolate fan, they’re loaded with choocolate flavor. The base is chocolate and then there are dark chocolate pieces througout each one. Not one or two pieces, but enough to give you one in every bite!
How have I been enjoying them? Well, straight out of the package is great but I also like dunking them in my milk or hot cocoa. Yeah, hot cocoa season is almost upon us. YUMMY GOODNESS in a bag! If you haven’t tried them yet, I really think you should!
The next time I’m at the store I’m going to look at some of the other varieties that Pepperidge Farm has to offer and give those a try next.
