Nguyen Coffee Supply – Delicious Coffees Grown in Vietnam

October 21, 2021 by Shelly

Nguyen Coffee SupplyNguyen Coffee Supply, the first-ever specialty Vietnamese coffee brand in the U.S., is embracing this fall with their take one the timeless espresso martini. The hidden benefits of VIETNAMESE ROBUSTA as compared to arabica beans, robusta coffee has some unique benefits: 2X more caffeine, 60% less sugars, and up to 80% more antioxidants! Nguyen is a women-owned business!

* Complimentary products received for review.

With their award-winning roasts imported directly from Vietnam and roasted in Brooklyn, this recipe delivers a delightfully rich, chocolatey flavor while still fulfilling a caffeine kick on par with an espresso shot. While normally enjoyed with vodka, gin is a welcomed substitute! Not to mention, this coffee has double the caffeine of your average cup. Click HERE for the recipe that we previously published on the TCC blog.

For this review we received 3 bags of coffee to try out for all of you. The Loyalty, the TrueGrit and the Moxy. Each is different and unique.

* Loyalty is strong and smooth with the following tasting notes: Cocao, Pomelo, Almond, and Smoked Caramel. It’s 50/50 Robusta and Arabica.

* Moxy is smooth and sweet with the following tasting notes: Wild Berries, Chocolate, Cherry, and Honey. It’s 100% single origin Arabica.

* Truegrit is the company’s strongest coffee with the following tasting notes: Scotch, Grapefruit Zest, and Bitter Melon. It’s 100% Peaberry Robusta.

The members in my family are huge coffee drinkers. My 71 year old mother can’t start her day without 2-3 cups in the morning. My husband enjoys a cup early in the morning and then a second cup early in the afternoon. My 35 year old daughter will drink 2-3 cups a day too. When it comes to coffee, we all have different likes and dislikes.

One thing I noticed as soon as I opened the package was a nice, fresh coffee aroma. Seriously, I felt like I was standing in a local coffee shop as they were grinding down some beans. The aroma was very pleasant right from the start, so I knew we were in for a real treat.

My daughter and I enjoy coffees with a sweeter taste to them. Out of the 3 varieties that we were sent to review we LOVED the Moxy with the Loyalty coming in second place. My mother selected the Loyalty as her first place winner with the Moxy coming in second. My husband who enjoys a strong brew with nothing added to it (no cream or sugar) really loved the Truegrit. It’s definitely for the coffee drinker who enjoys a strong brew.

The rest of my family drinks a lot of coffee. My younger son roasts his own coffee and I do not know if he has tried this brand of coffee.

I don’t drink coffee as much as I used to but I still like a cup every now and then. I had never heard of this company until I read your post. I would love to try their coffees, I especially like that this is a women-owned business. Great review of this product makes me want to try it soon.
