Family Fun at City Island Water Mini Golf

Water Mini Golf on City Island in HarrisburgLast month we planned an afternoon of fun with our kids. We took them down to City Island in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for a game of miniature golf. We have several courses to choose from in our area but had never played at this particular course. We loaded up the car and headed down there, a short 15 minute drive from our home.

City Island is a local area attraction. The Harrisburg Senators baseball team has their home field and stadium on the island. You’ll also find other attractions there but on this particular trip we were heading to City Island Water Mini Golf. The course has 18 holes, some are fairly easy while others are more challenging.

Since you’ll be on the island I recommend that you bring along your own sunscreen and bug spray. The bugs can be bad along the river, especially if you’re playing in the evening or after a brief rainstorm. You can bring along your own water bottles or pick up something to eat or drink while you’re there.

The course is beautifully landscaped and well laid out. There are plenty of water features to keep you entertained and to make some of the holes a little more challenging. It’s a really pretty place to play miniature golf and the prices are reasonable too. It’s a fairly easy walk if you have any type of walking issues. My mom who has had a knee & hip replacement was able to play with us.

We’re a big mini golf family and enjoy checking out new places to play. You can check out some of our favorite places by doing a quick search on the TCC blog. Yup, we’ve documented many of them on the blog.
