Did you know that September is National Family Hydration Awareness Month? I just recently learned about it. I think it’s a great idea to bring awareness to rehydration and hydration especially right before the cold & flu season hits. Often times adults and kids get dehydrated when they’re sick. They can suffer dehydration at other times too, like when they over-heat playing sports.

We’re a busy family and always on-the-go. Just in the past 2 months we’ve been out hiking, camping, boating, fishing, and rock climbing. Being out in the heat means you have to constantly keep yourself hydrated. For my family, we need grab-n-go hydration beverages like the ones I’m introducing to you today.
For the review I received 6 bottles of the SOS Electrolyte & Immunity Support Beverage in the Fruit Punch, Mango, and Watermelon flavors. They’re Non GMO, Doctor Formulated, and help to support your immune system. The beverages contain vitamins B6, B12, C, D, magnesium, zinc, and folic acid. Per serving only 10 calories, so great for those who are watching their weight.
Ready-to-Serve drinks are shelf-stable. They recommend that you serve them chilled and to drink the entire bottle within 3 days after opening it. I’ve been keeping them in the refrigerator, so that they’re ready-to-go as we need them.
Each beverage has Hypotonic Hydration Technology which hydrates faster than sports drinks and water alone. Balanced hydration helps with metal and physical performance, and helps to increase your energy. Each bottle contains 16.9 fl. oz. Serving size is one full bottle.
I packed 3 of them into a cooler last weekend and took them with us while hiking. I brought along water bottles because I wanted each member in my family to do a taste-test while we were out. My 12 year old daughter loved the fruit punch flavor. My husband and I didn’t care for that one. My 6 year old son loved the fruit punch and watermelon flavors. My husband and I really liked the mango and watermelon flavors. We all have different taste buds, so always important to keep a variety of flavors on hand.
The company’s new child–specific, low sugar electrolyte drink mix formula—SOS Kids, featuring PAW Patrol —is now available online at SOSKidsHydration.com and at Walmart in the United States. This coincides with SOS Hydration’s first annual “National Family Hydration Awareness Month” initiative is set to kick off this September, during which the public is invited to learn about the physical, cognitive and emotional benefits of pre-hydrating to avoid becoming dehydrated.
We haven’t had a chance to try the new PAW Patrol line of drink mixes just yet, but I’m sure my kids will love them. It’s nice to have them on-hand for the upcoming cold and flu season when children often become dehyrated and/or need that extra boost of hydration to get through the illness. These are the type’s of things you want to keep on hand and not have to run around for once a child becomes sick. It’s not fun scouring a grocery store or pharmacy at 2am. Be prepared ahead of time.

This is a great drink to have . I think it is better than Gatorade and would also take it when I am sick as well as for sports.
This would be great to carry to sports games. Bet the kids would drink more of this than water.
That is great to have a drink that is good and good for you. It will be so much easier to get the children to drink these when they are not feeling well.
