Nutri Grain Soft Baked Breakfast Bars Made with Real Fruit

Nutri Grain Soft Baked Breakfast BarsFor the past 6 weeks I’ve been relying on grab-n-go breakfast items 4 days a week while I travel back and forth to physical therapy. On the days that I have my therapy appointments I have to be there bright and early, at 7:00 AM. When I get up in the morning I have enough time to grab a quick shower, a cup of coffee and a grab-n-go breakfast item.

At the grocery store I found the Kelloggs Nutri Grain Soft Baked Breakfast Bars and decided to give them a try. Wow, I’m so glad that I did. They come in a variety of different flavors and made with real fruit. The ones that I like the best are the strawberry flavored ones. I’m a big fan of strawberry anything!

Each bar contains 8g of whole grains, is a good source of calcium and iron and a great way to start off your day with only 130 calories per bar. Unlike granola bars, these are soft-baked bars, so if you have chewing problems, you’re really going to appreciate that they’re soft like a freshly baked cookie.

I take my coffee and Nutri Grain bar on-the-go with me since I have a 35-45 minute commute to get to my appointment. I really like that they’re shelf-stable and not messy to eat. They fill me up until I get back home and can sit down for lunch. I also think they make a great lower calorie snack throughout your busy day.

  4. I’d like the strawberry ones. It’s good to have a couple in my car to keep me away from fast food.

  5. I am going to give these a try thanks for sharing this product. I need to eat better in the morning and this sounds healthy. I also love that they are soft to chew that is important to me. I have granola bars out there in the kitchen but they are too hard to chew.
