Over the years I’ve used their Plantain and Yellow Corn Flours, Classic Bread Crumbs, Couscous, Garlic, Quinoa, and many of their spices & spice blends. In my honest opinion, they make some of the best baking products in the world!

During the fall and holiday season I do a lot of baking and always stock-up on some of my pantry favorites at the beginning of the season. This way I have everything on hand as I bake. What’s really nice is that you can find Pereg Natural Food products at numerous offline retailers or shop online. You can use the store locator to find a retailer near you.

From beginning to end…the company is in charge and that ensures that every consumer receives a quality-made product.

Here are just a few of my highly recommended fall baking essentials from Pereg that I think you should have on hand.

Pereg Best for Challah Flour
Pereg Ground Cinnamon
Pereg 2 Color Sesame
Pereg Everything But the Bagel
Pereg Mixed Spices Zahtar

One of the things I really like about the Best for Challah Flour is that it has the yeast already in it. That’s right, you don’t have to go out and buy yeast and sift it into your flour. It’s an all-in-one product. You can use it to make a variety of different breads and rolls. I like using it in the Pereg Apple Honey Challah Recipe which I made last week. Delicious!

No kitchen pantry can be without ground cinnamon during the fall baking season. I use cinnamon in many of my cookie, bread, muffins, pies, cakes, and in dessert recipes! Think about all of those pumpkin pies, apple dumplings, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, apple muffins, etc. that you make throughout the season. It’s my favorite go-to ground cinnamon.

The 2 Color Sesame is a product I like to use when I make homemade bread and rolls, especially my sourdough sesame rolls. Having the bi-color sesame seeds adds interest and color. The Everything But the Bagel is great for all of your bread, muffin, dinner roll, and bagel recipes too. Heck, try them in your homemade waffles recipe too.

Looking to experience some new flavors? Try the Pereg Mixed Spices Zahtar seasoning. It’s a Middle Eastern spice blend that you can sprinkle on hummus, mix it in your favorite scrambled eggs or omlet recipe, toss into a homemade salad dressing, etc. It’s very unique and something different.

I like your Apple Honey Challah bread recipe that you made. I think it is a great idea to have a flour with the yeast included. I shall go look more at their products.
