The winter season is approaching and that’s when I like to sit down and work on my needlecraft projects. I enjoy crochet, knitting, cross-stiching, and embroidery. They’re inexpensive hobbies that allow you to be creative and help you to pass the time when stuck inside during the wintertime season.

New to crochet? You can still make these adorable cuties! In the front of the book you’ll find a section that teaches you the basic crochet stitches and techniques. Step-by-steps that you can easily follow along with color photographs to help guide you.

Each project includes a few fun animal facts, the materials list, step-by-step instructions, color photos and fun #hashtags so you can share your cutie online via social media. How fun is that? Cool.

I have a lot of experience with crocheting but my mother is a novice. Since I’m recovering from surgery of my left hand…Mom is giving them a try. She’s currently working on the Sloth. Mom told me that even with being a newbie, she’s able to follow along and is about 1/2 way done with her first Cutie. I’ll update this post once it’s complete. The reason I mention this is because I think the kit is great for newbies and those with crochet experience.
