Two decades ago I wasted a lot of money running out for professional manicures and pedicures at a local salon. Back then I was under the assumption that I couldn’t grow long nails. Furthermore, I wasn’t very talented when it came to painting them. When I say wasted a lot of money…in the thousands!
Fast forward to now where I’m smarter and much more frugal with my time and money. I now look forward to doing my own manicure and pedicures at home. I save a ton of money doing it myself. Over the next few weeks I’ll introduce you to the products that I’ve been buying and using. I have great success with them.
First up. Color Street 100% Real Nail Polish Strips. My cousin is a stylist with this company and that’s how I was introduced to the product. It’s great for those who aren’t good at polishing their own nails or toes. The strips are peel and stick. Easy-Peasy!
You can get the 100% Real Nail Polish Strips in oodles of different colors. You can get matte finish, glitter, sparkle, etc. You can get French manicure too. Each pack comes with 16 long-lasting polish strips along with instructions on how to apply them. No…you don’t apply them with glue. Peel and stick!
Once you have them on your nails you’ll shape it around your natural nail. Long, medium or short nails, it doesn’t matter. Instructions are on the pack. After I’ve applied the strips it takes me another 15-20 minutes to get them just the way that I like them. You can add a top coat if you want but it’s not necessary. I sometimes do and sometimes don’t.
I love the ease of Color Street. I’ve been using them on and off for several months. I still enjoy painting my nails the old-fashion way myself, but I love using the nail color strips when I pressed for time or for special occasions. There’s no drying time with the strips at all. Sometimes I get frustrated trying to do my nails. This would be the perfect way to have them look beautiful without all the bother.
I just purchased four sets of Color Street nail sets a couple months ago off a girl who was hosting an online party. Must say I’m happy with the product. In fact, wearing a pink glitter set now.
I tried for years and bought so many different nail polishes. I would work for hours to get the perfect looking nails and the next morning the polish on tips would be gone!! These I could use!!!
If I were to do my nails, this would be the way. Otherwise I just can’t be bothered. Never saw the purpose.
You had me at no drying time! I so have to try these. I love the way that blue fades into another blue on your middle finger. I would also love the french manicure one. Does it come off easily with nail polish remover?
I too wasted thousands at the salon on hair, nails, eyebrows and tanning decades ago but not anymore. I do it all myself and get more compliments now than I used to back then.
