My daughter is almost 12 years old and is into YouTube. She’ll sit and watch videos on all kinds of different things (age appropriate). She really enjoys it and has expressed interest on making her own videos & starting her own YouTube Channel with our guidance. I think it would be fun to do with her.

To help her get started I purchased her the Studio Creator Video Maker Kit from Amazon. It’s geared towards teenagers, so it’s appropriate for her age group. It comes with a complete guide to help newbies get started. The guide is pretty easy to follow.
The kit contains: an adjustable tripod up to 50 cm in height, 1 x 20cm diameter LED light ring with 3 light modes (white, natural, warm) USB charging with ignition and brightness control, 1 x rotatable and flirtable phone holder compatible with most models, 1 x green background 1M x 1.5M with 4 adhesive parts for easy wall mounting.
You can use it to help record unboxing videos, how-to tutorials, music videos, craft projects, cooking & baking recipes, special events, etc. There’s a lot you can do with it and we’re having a lot of fun with it. We haven’t published our first official video yet, as we’re still learning the ropes. However, this is a great kit to help you if you want to get started.
It’s not just for making YouTube videos. You can use it for Facebook Live, Instagram, TikTok, etc. Once we get our first official video up, I’ll come back here to update the post with the link. A great little project for parents to do with their teens.

My great niece (5) would love to have this but she is to young. I got a new iphone and gave her my old one to take pictures/videos and play games. She loves it and she is always making videos of her self dancing or singing.
