My daughter recently turned 12 years old and we hosted a little birthday party for her. She invited 6 of her friends over to our home for a party and sleepover. To keep the girls busy we planned 2 arts & craft projects, a card game, 2 teen appropriate movies and a fun manicure & pedicure session.

I went to the Dollar General Store with my Mom to pick up goodie bags for the girls along with nail polishes, polish removers, cotton pads and nail files. While I was there I picked up a few snacks: popcorn, cotton candy, chocolate candy bars, bubble gum and skittles.
In the snack foods aisle I spotted boxes of the Pillsbury Birthday Cake Bars and knew they would make a great party favor for the girls. Each mini bar comes individually package with only 100 calories per bar. They’re soft-baked bars with sprinkles in them and frosting drizzled across the top.
As soon as you open the package you get a good whiff of a vanilla birthday cake smell. They smell delicious but do they taste equally as good? You bet they do! Mom and I tried them before stuffing the rest in the girl’s goodie bags. We were both impressed with how yummy they were!
Parents and Grandparents – If you’re hosting a birthday party and are looking for party favors to put into goodie bags or to hand out at the party the Pillsbury Birthday Cake Bars would be perfect. Heck, I’m going back to get a few more boxes of them so that they kids can snack on them when needed.
This Momma is giving them a big two-thumbs up!

This is the first time I have heard of these bars. I am sure we would love them too as a delicious snack.
I’m glad you two made sure to taste test the bars before putting them in the goody bags. Sounds like a fun party.
That sounds like the perfect party for a 12 year old. Bet your daughter and her friends had a good time. These cake bars look so good and would be a good addition to a lunch box.
I haven’t seen these. They look good!
