I have a large collection of flashlights and lanterns, and use them for different tasks at home, at work, and while traveling. I received the Fenix 3000 Lumens Super High Performance EDC Flashlight for this review. It’s compact in size, but don’t let that fool you. It’s powerful with the 3000 Lumens and can light up a medium sized room. The battery is included, so it’s ready to use or gift.

It has six light settings which are as follows:

Turbo – 3000 Lumens – Runtime 1 Hour 15 Minutes
High – 1200 Lumens – Runtime 2 Hours 40 Minutes
Medium – 450 Lumens – 7 Hours
Low – 150 Lumens – 20 Hours
Eco – 50 Lumens – 50 Hours
Strobe – 3000 Lumens

Distance ranges from 240 meters on the Turbo setting to 30 meters on the Eco setting. It’s impact resistance up to 1 meter and submersible up to 2 meters. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty and 5-year free repair.

I’m a licensed contractor, HVAC supervisor, have my eletrician & plumbing licenses, etc. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t use some type of flashlight at work. I’m hands-on and always helping my crew. A good flashlight is essential in my line of work. It has to be heavy-duty and hold up to daily wear-and-tear.

The Fenix flashlight that I received for this review is perfect for my line of work. It’s compact in size, I can toss it into my pocket, my toolbox, tool belt, etc. and take it everywhere that I go. It fits comfortably into my hand and is easy to hold. You can clip it up or hang it too. I accidentally dropped it while my hands were wet and it still works perfectly, so it will handle that daily wear-and-tear use. In my profession, we call it tool abuse. It’s a very impressive flashlight that’s powerful in light and strength.
