My Thoughts: My daughter is 12 years old and loves arts, crafts, and loves to draw. She gets her creativity from my Mom. If she had a choice between being a couch potato or doing something creative with her hands she’ll choose the latter for sure.

She received the Anime Art Class – A Complete Course in Drawing Manga Cuties and has been busy ever since reading and practicing the exercises from the book. With the book she’s been learning about shading, shadows, the color wheel and blending colors, how to add the facial features, hairstyles, clothing, accessories, etc.

The artist does a great job at breaking everything down in simple terms that even my 12 year old can understand and follow. This book is great for the beginner or experienced artist who wants to learn how to draw Manga Cuties. A big thumb’s up from my daughter.

Gift Giving Idea – Head to your local Dollar Type of Store and pick up a sketch pad, colored pencils, erasers, etc. Purchase this book to and give the art supplies to go along with it. Any child who loves to draw will love being gifted a set like this. Think birthdays and Christmas gifts too.
