If you’ve been reading this blog for the past 12 1/2 years you’ll already know that my family loves the game of miniature golf. We get out several times every year to play at courses all around the tri-state area. It’s one of our favorite family outdoor activities to enjoy.
A few weeks ago we were down in Cape May in New Jersey and stopped by one of our favorite courses in Cape May County. It’s called Sunset Beach Miniature Golf and the course is practically on the beach. If you go in the evening during the sunset…you’ll be treated to a beautiful sunset out over the Delaware Bay.
It’s an 18-hole course that’s beautifully landscaped. We’ve played at this course at least a dozen times over the past 8 years and love it. It’s one of our favorites! On this particular ocassion we had 5 adults and 2 children in our party. It took about an hour to complete the course. We took our time because only 3 other people were playing. Nice!!!
If you look closely in the first photo you can see the world-famous World War II Lookout Tower standing in the background. It’s right across the street. If you get hungry you’ll find the Sunset Beach Grille about 50 yards away and 3 nice gift shops that offer shopping. If you want to spend time on the beach…that’s 50 yards away too!
On this particular outing my husband won the game with my son-in-law coming in a close second. The kids really had a great time. It’s always nice to see their mini golf skills improving every time we take them out. Our Granddaughter really loves it and takes the game seriously, while our grandson enjoys it but goofs off a lot! Fun family memories!!!
I used to enjoy playing miniature golf . I think that my grandkids would enjoy playing it too.
I too love to play miniature golf and this looks like a nice clean course. We don’t have any courses close by anymore and I sure miss them.
