Due to the upcoming July 4th holiday we kept things on the “lighter side” on the blog. Several of our writers are off for the holiday and on vacation. We will continue with this lighter schedule for the next week. Do you have any fun plans for the holiday weekend? Going anywhere fun?
We were on vacation last week and spent the entire week in Ocean City Maryland with my aunt and cousin. The kids had a great time playing together. This weekend we’re going to 2 backyard barebecues and pool parties. On Saturday evening we’re attending the annual fireworks show at the park. What’s on your agenda?
All the fireworks shows in our area have been cancelled because of the extreme fire danger which is actually a good thing because it is so hot and dry but our parade and live music at the park is still on so that is what we will be doing tomorrow.
my journal is in deep trouble! Not going any where for the 4th I have one of those summer cold’s that is really kicking me. Hope all have a great 4th
Thank you for another fun week on the blog. This week sure went by fast. We don’t have any plans for the 4th of July. We are just staying home and trying to keep cool.
The immediate family with grandchildren are getting together, partially to celebrate a birthday . Then we will watch fireworks.
We are not going anywhere for the 4th. We like to watch the fireworks on TV. I love the music concerts they have in DC.
