Fruity Pebbles No-Bake Cereal Bars Recipe

July 22, 2021 by Shelly

Fruity Pebbles No-Bake Cereal Bars RecipeMy grandchildren love eating Fruity Pebbles cereal and it’s one of their favorites to enjoy. I have to admit, my husband loves it too! Last week I mixed up a batch of Fruity Pebbles No-Bake Cereal Bars to take along with us on a day trip with the kids. They were the perfect take-along snack and they’re super easy to make. You only need 4 ingredients to make them!

Fruity Pebbles No-Bake Cereal Bars Recipe

2 Tbsp. Butter + 1 Tbsp. Butter
8 cups Miniature Marshmallows, divided
6 cups Fruity Pebbles Cereal
1/2 cup Pastel Colored Marshmallows

For the pastel colored marshmallows I buy the type that are typically used in breakfast cereals and/or hot cocoa.

Use 1 Tbsp. of butter to lightly grease the bottom and sides of an 8″ by 8″ square baking dish.

Place 2 Tbsp. butter and 6 cups of miniature marshmallows into a large pan. Melt over low heat stirring constantly. Once melted remove from heat. Stir in the 6 cups of Fruity Pebbles Cereal and the remaining 2 cups of minature marshmallows until everything is coated. It will be thick and it cools quickly.

Press cereal mixture into your prepared 8″ by 8″ baking dish using the back of a large spoon. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup of pastel colored marshmallows on top. Cover pan with a lid or aluminum foil. Let them set-up for an hour or two before slicing into bars. Store bars in an airtight container.

I do enjoy making no bake bars in the hot weather. My granddaughter helps me make cereal bars with marshmallows and fruit. She would enjoy making this recipe.

My granddaughter would enjoy making these and eating them for sure. They would be cute to have out for a party.
